    I made an AE- vignette/logo/intro for a filmcompanies dvd-releases. (pal 1024×576)

Now they want me to upscale it for a cinemarelease. (They want it to be pal 25 fps 1920×1080 uncompressed)

In the AEproj -what do I need fix to make it as good quality as possible? 32 bpc etc…

I have never done anything for cinema, so of course I want it to look as good as possible!

There should be a recent thread on uprezzing on this forum.

When I did a cinema spot for the UK, they just needed standard def PAL, and we were prepared for it to look pretty bad, but when we tested it in a theatre, it looked much better than we thought. It didn’t look like film, but it didn’t look like crap. Of course, there was a lot of distracting action in the spot. Your mileage may vary.
