how to best color grade a dslr?
I have a t2i and I been hearing around that for good color grading in post you have to set the camera to neutral. Which is to turn sharpness, contrast, and saturation all the way down. What’s your opinion on this?

I say go for it — if you can’t nail the look right on in-camera, you can save these decisions for post. See Stu Maschwitz’s blog [link] for more.
The Technicolor CineStyle [link] is another option.
You may want to do a couple identical test shots (with the defaults as well as these different profiles) to see the degree to which they impact your ability to correct the footage.

Use the t2i preset for neutral rather than turning everything down….

The picture styles you install won’t interfere with Magic Lantern. No problems with that.
