    Forge Freeform from Forge is a great plug-in for After Effects offering full 3-D functionality withing AE. Check it out at their website – https://www.forge.net/prod.htm

    FF creates a NURBS patch on a layer in AE. You can use displacement maps and bezier-corner distort the patch in three dimensions.

    But it still creates a movie of a 3D patch on one of AE’s flat layers. It’s best used for flags, banners and 3D displacement of planes.

    Full 3D functionality? Mmmm … no. 🙂
