    Hi CC AAE,

    How do i curve a picture so that it becomes an arc? I am trying to bend four long rectangular pictures to make a donut shape.

    thanks Pete

    Several ways to do it.

    Distort -> Warp
    has an ‘arc’ setting that warps the layer to half a donut, so first you should precomp the images together 2 by 2.
    This is the easiest to set up I think.

    Distort -> Polar Coordinates
    set to ‘Rect to Polar’ warps a layer to a 360° circle, But then you’d have to precompose the 4 images side by side, + this effect renders a quite small circle as the endresult.

    Distort -> CC Bend It
    set the Start at the left side of the layer, and the End at the right side of the layer.
    Use a Bend setting of 50.
    This will give you your true 90° donut quarter.
    But it only draws within layer boundaries, so you’ll nee a Utility->Grow Bounds Effect placed first on each layer.
