    Hey guys…
    I’m trying to simulated some rope from multiple splines in C4D R26
    at the end I’m trying to baked it all to static splines so I can use them as based mesh for my x-particles geo

    I’ve tried to cache and then ‘current state to object’ to the splines yet it keep coming back to the form it was before simulated
    I’ve tried the connect object trick and instances stuff

    any suggestion for this?

    Maybe try “bake as alembic” and then “connect objects and delete”?

    You could clone on to them using a matrix, then use a tracer to connect, then current state to object maybe?

    Hi Agesna,

    You could export your file to Stl format and then open the file again in Cinema 4D. It is assumed that no trace of simulation or movement will remain in the file.
