  • How to avoid banding with Mixed Colors media

I’ve got a track of Mixed Colors with both a Tritone and Gaussian Blur filter. Depth is normal, pattern levels are 50, detail is low and coarseness is high. I’m trying to achieve a dark, patterned, monochromatic greenish look, but I see a lot of “banding” in the image which additional blur filters can’t get rid of – it looks something like a topographical map. How do I smooth the image out to remove this?

You must have a gradient under the resulting banding?
