  • How to apply the same Audio Event Fx to multiple clips?

Posted by Heidi Huff on April 6, 2020 at 7:05 pm

I have several audio clips on a track that I want to change the volume (db) to 4. What I normally do is I find each individual clip on the track, click the Fx in the right corner, click “volume” and type 4 in the text box. How can I do this for multiple clips at once instead of each individual clip at a time?

I apologize if this has been asked before. I did try the search.

Make use of PasteEventAttributes. To do so, add the desired Fx to the first audio event. Then select the event and “Copy” (Ctrl-V). Then select the events to which you want to add the Fx. Once selected, right-click on any one of the new events and select “Paste Event Attributes”. The Fx you added to the first event will be added to the selected events. That’s it.
