  • How to Apply Same Text Effects to 50 Text Layers

    Hi,

I have a project with 50+ text layers. When I’m done, I will export the thing to Flash. My 50+ layers of text have the same effects in them (motion effect, blur, drop shaddow). I thought I could just save out the effects as one preset, but it seems that AE is a little more complicated than that. I don’t see an easy way of applying the same few effects to all of my text layers. I could use some advice.

    Here is the file:

    Thanks for your help,

    John

You can create a preset OR just highlight the effects on the first text layer (hit control-E / command-E then select them)in the timeline panel, copy them, then highlight the next 50 text layers & paste.
