  How to apply a BCC transition in After Effects?

  I just want to apply a BCC Swish Pan (from the “BCC11 Transitions” folder) to a text layer to animate in the text element.
  Now the BCC Swish Pan affects the whole clip and transitions somewhere in the middle of the clip.

  How do you do this correctly??

  Thank you very much in advance and sorry for this very basic question (Google and Boris’ page didn’t help :/
