  • How to anti-alias flickering Hi-res graphics?

    Dear Magicians,

I am moving hi-res line-drawing images (>4K) and get the notorious flicker.
First tried to reduce file size to 2x Comp size, still some flicker, build a mask and blurred the bas flickering areas manually but that looked worse than the original problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Always….VERY MUCH appreciated,

    C.S.

    Dear Dave,

My comp is Full HD1080 and the files are 3636×2598.

I guess thickening the lines is the best I can do. No magic deflickering trick?

    Much thanks as always,

    Caspar

If you have lines on a solid background, appropriate keying followed by a negative matte choke might help.
Or it might just be ugly…
