  • How to add/substract time on timeline

This might be a simple question but how(if any) can you extend or shorten the timeline between clips. I’m working on a short that has many clips/effects and was wandering if there is a way to do it without having to select all clips and move them down or further out. Ex. If I decide that I need an extra scene between two clips, can I somehow extend the timeline itself between the two clips so I can add a third?

    Thanks so much!

Andrew. Just found your post. Have you discovered your solution yet? It is a simple matter of turning on ‘ripple edit’. Any event that you then drag onto the time line between other events will move all subsequent events further along to accommodate.
Ripple edit is a toggle switch on your standard SV toolbar.
