  • How to add video effects to group of clips

I have a large number of individual clips on my time line and I would like to add the same Video FX to the entire group of clips. Is it possible or do you have to add it to each clip individually? Thanks for the help.

    I’m using Vegas MS 8.0.

This works in Pro and should work in VMS as well.
Click the first event you want the FX Applied to, shift+click the last one and then drop the desired FX from the Video FX tab on this selection.
This assumes you’re using a default FX.
If you want to customize it in any way, it needs to be done differently.
Apply the desired FX to the first clip, customize it as desired, copy the clip (Ctrl+C), click the clip next to it, shift+click the last desired clip, right-click and select “Paste Event Attributes”.

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for. It does work the same in VMS and I did need the custom FX. I really appreciate the response.
