  • How to add motion trails / ghosting effect to Premiere Pro?

I’m at a bit of a loss as I thought this would be easy.

I have a full-screen JPG that I want to spin and zoom around the screen (rotozoom) and give it motion trails or a ghosting effect. I’ve been looking for an example to illustrate, and I’ve found something similar to what I’m after:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh6N3QylX0s (the effect starts around 2:25min)

I’m wondering, will I have to render the motion of the jpg first, and then apply an effect? That’s even if I can find the effect, as every motion blur I try just blurs the image in a static positon, the blur won’t change with motion.
