  • How to add a motion effect to a .tif sequence?

Posted by Bluewingoliver on April 10, 2006 at 3:39 pm

I wanted to create a traditional variable speed effect of a .tif sequence, and could’nt figure out how to do it. I tried nesting the effect, but my nesting skills are very poor. 🙂

While I’m already asking stupid questions, any way I can create a freeze frame from a .tif sequence in the source monitor?

    MC 11.0.8

Many thanks and apologies in advance.

Do a video mixdown of the Tif sequence, which will create a regular clip of it, which you then can apply motion effects to or create freeze frames from.

Do not do this, however if you are working at a low resolution and need to conform to a higher resolution sequence, as a video mixdown does not retain timecode information.
