    Hello,

    I’ve been using Cinema4D R9 with Bodypaint 3D.
Anyway, when I activate 3D Painting Mode, and select a brush size, so that I can paint over the mesh of an object I’ve selected, my curser turns into a red circle with a diagonal line through it, aka the “Illegal Move” symbol. I’ve been following the bodypaint tutorials on the Maxon website very closely, but they seem to have skipped a few chapters, like how to actually paint with Bodypaint. If anyone knows how to get around this, it would be much appreciated.

    thanks,
    Michael:)

The easiest way is to use the Paint Setup Wizard. It’s in the Tools menu (BP layout). It’ll set up your UVs and bitmaps so you can get right to work. Of course you can always go back and adjust UVs or whatever.

3DKiwi’s new BP tutorial DVD is a must have IMHO.

    From an unbiased BP newbie.
