    Hello to all…
I have searched the boards but the effect I am trying to achieve I would not even know what to call it. I am providing a link. I want to know how to make my video footage look like a still shot with a fast shutter. I’ve played around in AE and I am coming up with not much. I see this done all the time but I’m not sure how to get the effect.

    Here is the link:

    Thanks
    Chuck

This looks like a combination of techniques. I think I’d start with time remapping it to speed it up and trying some posterize time treatment. the time remapping will let you make a hold where you need it like you see in the video. another thing that seems to be going on is a bit of ghosting, which you could get with the echo effect I think.
