  • How should I record My Screen

Posted by Gonghouse on August 6, 2007 at 4:47 pm

    Hi Guys,
Am working in a project, I want a software or a process on how to record my screen (i.e Monitor)in 720×576 pixels of image & 25 frames/sec of video so I can edit it or import it in premiere pro 2.0.
I have tried using Myscreen recorder pro 2.6 but when I import into premiere it requires rendering and after drops in quality drastically.
    Thanks for U guys help.

Camtasia is one of the better ones outhere.

Windows Media Encoder is free and includes screen recording features.

Camtasia Studio from Techsmith is perhaps the best tool around. They have a free 30 day trial as well.

You can check out CamStudio — you’d be surprised at those who use it. It’s free!

You might also look at Snagit by Camtasia. Very flexible and easy to use.

SnagIt is an image capture tool made by Techsmith. Camtasia is another tool made by Techsmith 😉
