Hi from 15 degrees C very windy York Uk 🙂

    https://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/office-to-let-on-window_zpszwtgpmkh.jpg

The above link shows an image of an office and some text. But in after effects I need the text to patch onto the windows so it follows the same plane if that makes sense.

I dont know the name of this technique so my search on Google was fruitless. So can anyone please give me some basic guidelines on how to make text or any object look like its a sticker on the pane of an office window.

Damn i’m struggling to explain this…. ok here is another way If i had a poster how could i make it look like its stuck to an angled window?

Thanks from I need to go home David 🙁

If it’s going to fit into one pane, I would precomp the text into a comp the same size as your final, then use the Distort > Corner Pin effect to place it into one pane.

You are basically looking for a form of motion tracking. Planar with mocha is probably the best bet. There are a lot of tutorials online for that or the other types.
