How make a template
Hi
I àm pretty new in After Effects and need some tips regarding how I should build up a template.
I`m working on a project where the customer has 50 different screens. The content on the screens will show a looping movieclip built up like a slideshow. A 3D slideshow where the pictures follows an elliptical path in a 3D-layer.(how can I attach a images to an elliptical path?)
What is the best way to make a template, where the path is a constant but where the images attached to the path can be interchanged? Where there are a variying number of images from screen to screen.

Use comps instead of pictures. This way you can easily change out the pics without disrupting the animation. Check out the tutorials on Comps and pre-comps.
