  • How Lock postion of title text on clip ?

Anyway to “lock” the position of text/title on an individual clips timeline? Problem is this: I make text in the Title Program, use it as a kind of subtitle for a moment in a vid clip, but – if later I have to add another vid clip before the clip where I had placed the text, only the clip moves right along the timeline _ not the text/title: throwing everything out of sync. Wish there was a way to make the text move along with the clip, keeping its’ position in THAT clip.
    Any help ?

I am a little unclear on your question. Are you talking about the position of the Title in the frame? or the position of the title on the timeline?

If you are talking about the position in the timeline, you can “Group” any two clips together (highlight clips you want, right-click then select “Group”)

I don’t have any trouble when I insert edit a clip before an existing clip with text over it. How are you adding the new clip? Have you tried Insert?
