How is this achieved?
I would like to know how to achieve the following effect using Vegas 5. I want to use video from 2 different so that only part of one track blends/melts into the other. This is the sort of thing that uses a gradient fill & transparency when done on stills.

Use a mask with a feathered edge. You can make any shape you need with the Bezier mask tool that is part of Pan/Crop.
