Hi,
I wanted to find out how this effect is achieved

The infographic that appears beside the actor and pans and moves relative to him is what i want to replicate
I can see that they have used some sort of motion tracking, but im not sure if this can be achieved using just AE
Could some one point me in the right direction please

Just motion tracking the object and adding an infographic, can be completely done in AE, here’s a tutorial to help you get started. And if you have any specific questions afterwards, feel free to ask:

Thanks for the link, but it seems to be a bunch of seminars on everything from accounting to finance and HRM ( wrong link? or did i miss something?)
I have tried this with Mocha, but havent been able to get the infographic to rotate like they did in this video. I have AE 5.5.
Is the motion tracking you are referring to available in cs6 or higher?

Sorry about that, I fixed the link. Motion tracking is available in CS 5.5, but you are correct – to achieve the rotation you see in that video, you would want to use a planar tracker. Make sure you have perspective and rotation selected when you are do the planar tracking.
If you go to the mocha website, they have tons of tutorials for using Mocha, like these one, that is sort of what you want to do.
