How has the editor created this
Hi,
Does anyone know how the editor has created these pans in this video The footage seems to pan into the next shot, was this done in AE? I am looking to do something simliar and would like to know how they have created this.

Dave is right with that link – good tutorial.
However, if all you have is Premiere or some other editing suit you can accomplish nearly the same thing (I wouldn’t buy a copy of AE just for this). The key to making those really great mock pans work is shooting in a higher definition of footage than you’re using in the end. That way you have a bunch of video that’s out of frame that you can pan to and from.good luck
