How get rid of blue bar in precision editor?
Hi, I’m trying to do an edit in the precision editor between two audio clips, but there’s a portion of each which has a blue bar on the bottom, and it’s silent wherever the blue bar is. What does the blue bar mean and how can I get rid of it so I can use those portions of my audio clips? Here’s what it looks like:

Perhaps it’s part of the next clip. Expand the audio in the next clip (control-s) and see if there’s overlap.

Part of the next clip? You mean the out side of the cut? Anyway, it won’t let me do it, it just beeps, I think because I’m cutting two audio clips, not the audio portion of two clips that also have video. There’s nothing to expand.

When I use the Precision Editor to look at that cut and zoom in here’s what I see:

That looks like a glitch of some sort. I’d trash your prefs.

I screen shared with him (Tony’s a buddy) and it was very weird. I just match framed into the clip, dragged it back onto the clip in the project timeline, hit replace from start and it went away.
Anyways, if anybody encounters that, that’s the solution. Go figure!
