Hi… I’m working in a PC and I have to produce a mov file… What are the settings for appropriate using in Final Cut?

Lower or Upper field?
Square pixels???

any thing more to set?

That all depends on the particular FCP system and what the rest of the material they will be cutting on the timeline with the material that you provide. Are they working with 720×480 DV, or 720×486 BetaSp or DigiBeta???

Hi there… I have an AVI file in this format 720×480 DV and I have to sent to a final cut also in DV quality

Marcel,

That’s easy, just output a QT at standard DV settings, 720×480, lower field dominance, 4:3 aspect ratio, using the Apple DV/DVCPro NTSC codec or animation codec if that is not available on your system.
