[Ian Dillon] “How do you stop the spinning render rainbow cursor on a Mac? Sometimes I just want to switch back to draft mode from Best and that little spinning rainbow cursor just won’t go away!”

When do you get the spinning beach ball? Because that should not be happening during a preview or a render unless you are seriously low on resources. Do you have other applications open as well? Is your startup disk low on storage space?
