  • How do you stop an interval recording?

I used my DVX’s interval recording mode for the first time to capture an overnight catapillar transformation. Everything worked as per the owner’s manual, however, when I attempted to terminate the (still on-going) recording the following morning, the camera would not respond to my pushing the “stop” button on the remote. I tried changing the angle of the remote-to-camera, thinking that was the problem, but still could not stop the recording. I also tried to stop it while it was actively recording and while it was in “pause” between recording intervals – nothing. I tried to stop it by pressing the “stop” button on the camera body, but even that wouldn’t work. I finally switched the camera to “off”, which of course, terminated the all functions.

I reread the manual, and although the instructions are clear about setting up the camera for interval recording, and starting the interval recording, but I could find no mention of how to stop this mode, once you push the “start” button.

    Did I overlook something?

    Thanks – Russ Ansley

    Russ –

I stopped my interval recording just like you did by shutting off the camera. As you know, when you are in interval recording, the camcorder does not appear to respond to commands.
