    i cant find anywhere to change my super drive destination when buring. looked in dvd studio prefs no joy. any ideas?

    When your DVD is ready and it has been “built” select “Format” and you will see at the bottom “Output device”. Here you can choose where to you want the disc to be burned.

    You could also Build and Format to Hard Drive and then use a program like Toast to burn the image file. In Toast you can easily switch between devices by clicking on the name of the device in the lower left corner. I find Toast to be much more reliable for burning and have fewer errors than burning directly in DVDSP.

    built dvd gone to format its not there. looked in the inspector window under general setting its not there either. which contradicts the user guide. am i missing something.

    Don’t look at inspector. On the top row of your screen (above viewer/menu) you see the build and format buttons. When you click the format button another window opens. Look under “General” and choose “Output device”.

    thanks Jurgen. i did not have those buttons on my default settings, but found them in customize. sorted
