How do you replace a shirt print in this situation?
Hey guys,
I want to replace a logo on a shirt and tried to use techniques shown in tutorials like the one by Mikey .
In my example, there are a lot of distortions and the logo (that has to be replaced) spans almost the whole width of the back so I’m having a lot of trouble.
Also, the camera is moving a lot.
I tried different combinations of cloning, rotobrushing, tracking in mocha.. but it still doesnt look very convincing.Would you say that this is impossible (= cheaper to reshoot)?

It can be done, but with a lot of work. I have replaced logos on moving cloth before with a lot of hours of distorting frame by frame with the Mesh Warp a tracked patch. If you can re-shoot then I would choose that.

Check out new mocha Pro 5 plug-in for Adobe. Has a built in mesh warp for these type of tasks.

Thanks Ross, unfortunately I don’t have the pro version yet but with your hints I found this tutorial. I will try it this way first.
