  • How do you import multiple sequence frames and render as a movie?

    Hi,

I am quite a beginner with AE, so my apology in advance if this seems too basic….

I have about 300 sequent frames in tga format and I want to put them back together and render a movie. I imported all the images and dragged them onto a comp hoping that would automatically place them as a movie, but instead each image is placed in a separate layer.

Could you please give me a suggestion of how to do this in correct way? Thanks bunch in advance!

    Yoshiko

You need to import your images as an image sequence.

In the Import dialog, there is a checkbox in the lower left that will say “Targa Sequence” (if you had Photoshop files selected, it would say “Photoshop Sequence”). As long as your image files are numbered, AE will import all of them as a single sequence file, which it treats like a movie file.
