  • How do you have two tracks of video playing at once?

I guess it’s done in the “motion” tab somehow. Basically, I want to start off with footage of guy number 1 and then transition via wipe to both guy # 1 and guy number 2 in the same screen….. sort of a transition wipe (except only half way)…. does that make sense?

How is this accomplished? Two tracks of video playing at the same time (side by side) on the same screen?

    Guy 1: Video 1
    Guy 2: Video 2

    Motion tab on V2.

    Crop to desired size.

If you want to see the wipe come in, use the keyframes on the crop to “move” it as it plays.

Or, instead of using keyframes on the crop, you could introduce the guy on V2 with an edge wipe, that will, of course, only reveal the cropped image. To be more exact with the timing you can double-click on the wipe and set it to end at the same percentage that is left by the crop (i.e. 100 – crop value). Try it out and you will immediately see what I try to describe 😉
