How do you have to buy the surcode codec to output 5.1 audio.
I just started doing a project and use 5.1 audio. Looking at what to do next to send the project to Encore, I’m confused as what to do to enable the 5.1. Do you have to buy the surcode dolby codec or is there another way?

You have to purchase the Surcode plugin for $300.

Yes. It is easiest. I’ve heard you can also buy/use other software(DVD-Lab, I think), but (I’ve heard) it’s let reliable, with a longer/larger learning curve-not as user-friendly.
