Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy How do you get .SGI files into Final Cut Express

    Go back to the originating application and render out in a more commonly recognized codec. QT recognizes about 200 different formats.
    Where on earth did you get an .sgi?

    bogiesan,
    The originating application was Shake 4 and the files that they had for the tut were in sgi file format
    I aslo went to Apple site to see what Quicktime 7 file format support and .sgi was one of them.But when I try to these .sgi files in Quicktime 7.QuickTime didn’t know how to hanlde these files either.
    So that why Iam here.
    I hope this make abit more since?
