how do you flop lower third template to opposite side of frame?
Does anyone know how to flop a motion lower third template from screen left to screen right? when choosing the lower third from the template options, it only gives you one choice but I assume there is an easy way to flop it since not all interviewees sit on one side.

You make a really good point. They should come with a Lower Third on the right and left.The only way I know how to do it is the old fashioned way. Luckily with Lower Thirds like the Weave-Lower-Third the text and lower third are in separate groups. In this case, select the “Arrows” group and change it’s Y rotation 180 degrees. That will put it on the other side. Then move the text. Hope this helps and best of luck.

You can also use Flop Filter to change rotation of the object. Filters/distortion/flop…. (Not the text, you will have to move the text manually).

Thanks for all the help! The flop filter worked great but since the text was animated, it was too difficult to figure out how to change all the parameters to the other side of the frame. Oh well, that’s what I get for trying to take a short cut. damn those templates!

It was the Skyline template. Weird that they wouldn’t include both sides of the screen. ah whaddya gonna do?!
