What program are you importing them into?

When going from AE to Premiere, I use:

Quicktime, RGB + Alpha, Premultiplied (matte),Format Option compression set to Animation

You could also use a png or tga sequence.

    Ouch! No shouting! 🙂

I am not aware of any standards. I just make sure any text is within the title safe area, which is the inner rectangle of the two safe areas.

After that, it’s an aesthetic thing. If you want to make sure non-textual graphics are seen, make sure they’re within the action safe area (the outer rectangle).
