  • How do you dock certain Script UI Panels?

Posted by Benjamin Brown on January 18, 2017 at 6:36 pm

So for example, I use Ease and Wizz and other ScriptUI Panels all the time, but I don’t know how to dock them in AE like you would the project window or the timeline or something like that. Can this be done? Am I totally missing something?

For a script to be dockable, you must install the scripts into the ScriptUI folder, and you must invoke it from the Window menu. Then it will open as a panel, and you can drag and drop it into the UI as you would any other panel.

Is there a way to make your panel dockable when launched through another.

To keep my script tidy and separate. I have a few different scripts that are launched via a menu.

Is there a way to make these dockable?
