How do you choose the correct sequence settings?
Hi there,
I am having to render a lot of my footage, which I believe may be unnecessary because of my sequence settings. I have ‘log and transferred’ my footage in to Final Cut Pro 7 and in the browser it says my clips are ProRess 422.
What should my sequence settings be set to?
I initially had it on ‘easy setup’ and dragged the footage in to the timeline, to which I clicked ‘yes’ when asked to match the sequence settings. Thought this would automatically pick the right sequence settings for me but I guess not because of the rendering time…!
Expertise would be much appreciated, thank you.

the sequence setting should be the same of the footage, for best real time performance.

Those are you BIN settings, and they don’t show us what is what? What is a clip? What is a sequence? Click on your sequence and go to the SEQUENCE menu and choose SETTINGS. Show us that.
