ok, so i’m trying to make a cartoon parody of star wars, but i don’t want to have to make all the backgrounds in illustrator (even with the trace feature). so is there a way where i can cartoonize the video to make it seem like it was made in illustrator?

In the Creative COW After Effects podcast, hosted by the inimitable Aharon Rabinowitz, you will find a three part series…

It begins here in part one,

    Continues here in part two,

and concludes here in part three.

These three podcasts explain the process.

    Best regards,

Remember: Burt Bacharach lied. What the world really needs now is an undo button.
