  How do you bill for a producer fee?

  Hey guys,
  I have a few years of experience and am getting some decent clients for commercial work. But I’ve always struggled with how to bill for the producing side of things. Right now we typically do a pre-pro flat fee and then build in some padding in our day rate to include room for our producer. But I’m curious how others are doing this? Hourly estimate? Flat producing fee plus separate producer day rate? Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks!
