How do Video Production skills transfer into other careers?
Hello!
The title pretty much says it all. I’ve been working in broadcast television for the past 15 years as a video producer. My skills include conceptualizing, creative problem-solving, writing, shooting, editing, animation/motion graphics/VFX, and voiceovers.
I’ve hit the proverbial brick wall in my career and I’m considering another direction, but I’m unsure how my current skill set translates into other careers. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears! Thank you!

Advertising and Public Relations seem like an easy reach, with considerable cross-over, but maybe too similar to what you were doing?

Corporate relations. It’s a different world from broadcast, and you may prefer it.
