How do I split a picture into chroma and luma?
I found an image from RED’s website which shows an image’s chroma and luma, as you can see in the link below.

So, I want to know if there is any way to do this with Photoshop?

Convert to Lab mode, open the channels, and:
– hide the L channel to show chroma only (a&b)
– hide the a and b channels to display luminance only.This works best if you create a new view window of the same document, and align both windows side by side.
Each window can have its own channel display setup. So, for example, the window on the right can be used to inspect luma and chroma (combined a&b) channels./*—————————————————-*/
