How do I shorten a composition
Posted by Andreas Sweden on April 10, 2005 at 8:01 pmWhen starting a new composition AE asks how long it should be, how do I shorten it when I am done with the project when stuff I have made is shorter so I don’t have to render it all?

April 10, 2005 at 8:12 pmunder the composition tab select compostion settings, this opens the same screen you get when making a new one.

April 10, 2005 at 8:27 pmYou don’t have to render the entire comp length — set it to render the work area under “time span” in the render settings.
Do you have a copy of the manual, Andreas? Seriously, it would be good to familiarize yourself with the app through the manual.

April 10, 2005 at 8:33 pmI do have manual : )
AE is not my primary program but I am trying to develop my skills, I mostly use it for masking where I know the length of the clips. Now when I am trying to play arround with it I find that the manual is not the best that I have come across especially when English is not my native language. Besides I enjoy the exellent service and knowlege that everybody posess here : )

Take care,
Nick
