  • How do I set DIVX settings for a HD project?

Posted by Paul Gregory on December 11, 2006 at 5:46 am

I normally render out my home DVD projects to the regular MPEG2 settings of 720×576 PAL. But my current project is made up of hundreds of high resolution JPEG images. My DVD player can playback all flavors of MPEG4 including DIVX. I know that I could also render out my current project into HD, using Vegas, then burn the files as a data disk which should play back in HD OK.

What I don’t know is just what DIVX settings I should use. I have looked at the codec settings for DIVX when in Vegas & just don’t know what multi pass settings I should be using or how they are set. Can anyone help me out with this? Also what about single pass DIVX -HD -how does it compare with the standard MPEG2 results?

    Thanks in advance
