    How do i scale a shape layer while keeping the proportions of the edges?

    I have a circle with an edge around it, and i want to scale it in one direction, until it becomes one flat line.
    If I just transform it, the edge will distort, but i want to keep its thickness even.
    I’m sure this has a super simple solution, but I just can’t figure it out.
    Any advice?

    Change the size values of the ellipse rather than the scale.

    Thank you, that worked! But now if i want it for a path that i drew with the pen tool, there’s no size value to change. You know how to fix this?
