    I’m trying to do a logo aniamtion where I need the logo to form from shattered pieces.If I apply the shatter effect it shatters from the original logo.HOW do I reverse it so tht at frame 0 its all pieces and at frame 4 it comes together to form the logo.

    Probably the easiest way is to first precompose your layer(s) containing the shatter effect (move all attributes to the new composition).

    Then time-reverse the precompoosed layer.

    What I uaually do to reverse any effect is I key frame it first at the end point, so every thing is un-shattered then I go to the begining of the time line and key frame it there as shattered…
