    Hey guys,

This has me stumped a little…

Randomly, and for no apparent reason (I guess the reason is “Because Premiere”), this “thingy” has started appearing in my Premiere.

Also for some reason, it really annoys me.

I often have Rushes bins with a LOT of footage and it takes up a lot of valuable space on my screen for no apparent reason.

    How can I re-hide it???

It doesn’t help I have no idea what it’s actually called and “Hide bin preview” in google brings up some very ambiguous results.

    Thank you kindly!

Where your project tab is you need to click on the icon to the right. It looks like 4 lines. Where it gives you the option to display thumbnails you probably have preview area selected. With preview area enable Premiere can output to third party hardware. It is kind of like hoverscrub for the database mode.

That’s an easy one: just uncheck/untick the Preview Area in the project panel’s menu.
