How do I remove an actor from a video?
I have a video where I need to put the actor into a different location, so I basically need to cut the person out of the video and paste them into a new video. I’m guessing this would be done with rotoscoping or are there any new features in after effects or photoshop that may make it easier or different types of software? also do I need to go frame by frame cutting them out? if you could provide any insight or links to tutorials that would be great.

Since CS5 the Rotobrush is really the quickest way to roto someone with AE. Check out this tutorial from AdobeTV to get started.
Then his a google search for Rotobrush tutorials.
I’ve watched the first one and it’s pretty good, but you may want to check out the help afterwards, rotobrush isn’t totally intuitive. After you check that some of that stuff out, if you have any questions come back.
