How do I obscure someone’s face to keep them anonymous?

For the static shots all you need to do is duplicate the track, add a blur to the top track, then add the Cookie Cutter FX to the top track with the “Circle, Center” preset and have it just keep a small circle of blurred footage. Just enough to cover the face.

For moving shots you will need to keyframe the cookie cutter placement and size. It’s tedious but doable. if the camera movement is smooth you should be able to get away with just keyframing the start and end of the movement/zoom.
