  • How do i not create hundreds of video tracks?

Posted by Hunter Madden on January 2, 2019 at 3:12 am

Hello, i come with a question yet again. I wish to know how i can create, pretty much a wall of images that appears at different times. I plan on syncing the images with what is said in the video, however i don’t know how i can do this without creating hundreds of layers. As i wish for everything to stay on the screen at the same time.

So, if somebody could please advise me that’d be amazing. As of current i’m going to start creating my hundreds of video tracks so i can accommodate the images…

P.S. Couldn’t find anything related to this on Youbtube or any sort of forums.

What’s the most number of screens/images that you’ll see at once?

I tried to look for something, but couldn’t find it. A while ago i saw a Youtube video where numerous comments popped up on the screen at different times and different areas and stayed. I just don’t remember the video(s).

If these are just still images you might consider doing it in something like Photoshop. It’ll be much easier on both you and Vegas ????

Thank you very much for taking the time to make a video specifically to help me and the audio was fine by the way. Really, the trouble that i’m running into is that i have to create 68 different video tracks due to the fact that all the images need to be on the screen at the same time and that is taking a very, very long time to do…

Not sure there is a way around that unless you pre-combine them. Maybe you could create one clip with a bunch combined then import it and do that several times so you keep your track count lower, or perhaps combine them in a image program.

    I was thinking
A: Create 68 Video Tracks and just say screw it.
B: Go into an animation program and sync the image appearances with audio.
C: Create a separate video in sony vegas with 68 tracks and sync that portion of the audio then add it to the main video.

    Any thoughts?
