    How do i make “Matrix Extrude”

    Hi Guys

    Im followinf a tutorial, whcih i think is a v7 or 8 tut. and it tells me to make a platonic and make it editable….which i have done. it then says go to Structure>Edit Surface>Matrix Extrude, but when i go to Structure, there is no Edit Surface and the Matrix Extrude is not selectable. What could i be doing wrong?

    Hi,

    you must be in polygon mode and edit a polygon object. Then click the right mouse button in the editor view and there you go with the Matrix Extrude tool (or use the menu)

    But how do i enter into polygon mode?

    no worries.. i found the polygon tool.
